Packaging

Cavity Fill

Polystyrene can be used for cavity fill in the first 3 layers of bricks to prevent rising damp becoming a problem in your house.

Block Out Moulds and Industrial Uses

Expanded Polystyrene is widely used in construction and building industries, applications include insulated panel systems for walls, roofs and floors as well as facades for both domestic and commercial buildings. It also has civil engineering applications for concrete cut outs (void-forming fill material) structures such as tilt-ups, roadways and bridges.Lightweight fill in road and railway construction is another use.

Window Blockouts

There are 2 types of window blockouts.

• Window Plugs (removable blockouts for building)
• Styrene window blockouts (used to blockout the windows from noise and / or light)

Window plugs
can be added in the building process so that you can build around the exact space for your new window. When the bricks or walls are completed the plug is removed and your window can be installed into the perfect space.

Window plugs are used a lot for unusual shapes, circles, port holes and stain glass windows.

Styrene window blockouts, are used by shift workers, in baby nurseries or anywhere that needs to have the light and noise from the outside prevented from entering the inside rooms.

Window blockouts are fabric covered polystyrene that is made to the exact size of your window and slides in when need and then can be removed to allow the light or breeze in later.
